Company
LTC (Lambodara Trading Company) is a Bengaluru-based MSME trading ferrous intermediates for India's steel industry. We move sponge iron lumps & pellets, billets, pig iron and HMS scrap — every trade backed by a confirmed order and settled through bank instruments.
About LTC
LTC procures ferrous intermediates from established producers and supplies them to mills, foundries and re-rollers across India — sponge iron lumps & pellets, billets, pig iron and HMS scrap, sourced to the buyer's grade and sizing.
We take no speculative positions and extend no open credit. Every purchase is initiated only against a firm buyer order, and every settlement runs through a Letter of Credit or advance RTGS — protecting counterparties on both legs of the trade.
Supplier & buyer commitment
Quality & sampling methodology
LTC's quality assurance begins at the loading point, not on arrival. Every consignment is witnessed and sampled during loading by Mitra S. K. Private Limited (MSK) — a Kolkata-headquartered, accredited testing, inspection and certification agency whose mineral and metal certificates are recognised across the industry.
Increments are drawn day-wise as the truck is loaded, combined into a representative composite, and prepared for analysis. Samples are jointly sealed with numbered tamper seals and retained, so results can always be traced back to sealed material.
Each composite is tested for Moisture, Total Iron [Fe(T)] and Metallic Iron [Fe(M)] at the laboratory, and the result is read against the buyer's acceptance specification before the material is cleared for dispatch.
This gives both supplier and buyer a single, independent record of what actually shipped — the foundation of a clean LC presentation and a dispute-free delivery.
On the first loading, LTC's appointed inspector witnessed the sampling of a complete truck — 70 MT — drawn during loading. Increments were collected in three progressive rounds as the vehicle filled, then combined into a single composite sample in line with IS 15774.
Increments drawn day-wise during truck loading, under inspector supervision.
Increments combined and reduced to a representative composite sample per IS 15774.
Samples jointly sealed with numbered tamper seals and retained for reference.
Moisture, Fe(T) and Fe(M) determined at the lab; result read against buyer spec.
Sampling and analysis carried out by MSK. Inspection findings reflect the material at the time and place of sampling and support, but do not replace, the commercial terms agreed between buyer and seller.
Why partner with LTC
We buy only against a confirmed buyer PO — no positions taken ahead of demand, no exposure passed on to you.
Trades settle through a Letter of Credit or advance RTGS, so both supplier and buyer are protected.
Independent third-party sampling and lab testing at the plant before material ever leaves.
Fe(M) grade, sizing and chemistry sourced and confirmed to the buyer's exact requirement.
